Alphabet Arm Design officially opened its doors in November of 2001, founded by Aaron Belyea (a.k.a. Alphabet Arm -- his design moniker), a self-proclaimed, self-taught fellow who had been designing commercially since 1994. Starting as a freelancer, he worked with a number of local bands. Since then he has worked with a Who's Who list of Boston rock, hip hop, recording studios, radio stations, record stores, artist management companies, record labels, and businesses. Honing his style and learning the various printing and production ropes, he was hired to build and oversee the design department for the Planetary Group (a radio/music promotion company). While there, Aaron developed an undying love for soy milk, a niche market focusing on music-based design, and a client base that has followed him ever since. Now in its third year of business, In 2004, Alphabet Arm added the fresh-faced Ryan Frease to the mix. A brash, young and devilishly talented designer, Ryan graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in 2000. After testing the waters in Florida he decided to move north and begin full-time work at Alphabet Arm.

It's 2005 and slowly but surely Alphabet Arm continues to grow, The latest designer added to the team, you ask? Why David "Dave" Wall, of course, a former intern extraordinaire and recent graduate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Beyond a skillful eye and a steady hand, Dave brings his savvy, digital, sarcastic vegan know-how to the crew.

Aaron, Ryan and Dave, complimented by an ever-growing army of interns, are ready and willing to solve any design problem you may have. From logo and identity design, CD art direction, office system solutions, poster design, merchandising, advertising campaigns, marketing collateral, signage . . . you name it.
