Greatest Hits
If people aren't engaged right away, they move on. That’s one test of a good marketing campaign. Another is whether people actually buy. What you see here is my best work, designed to engage buyers across multiple industries. Most are integrated campaigns for clients looking to project industry leadership through a website, white paper, case study, e-newletter or other elements, all working in combination. About the Postcard Slideshow Above
The postcards at the top of the page are my solution to an age-old marketing problem for freelance copywriters — how to quickly demonstrate writing skills to buyers in different markets. Companies in every market face a creativity challenge when it comes to content that sells. They need to convey a complete sales message in a few simple words. Writers who can’t do it for their own businesses probably can’t do it for yours either.• • •
Multimedia Blogging
In my role as a volunteer on the marketing committee of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, I’ve been asked to orchestrate the Forum’s blogging campaign.
Topics for these multimedia blog posts have included:
- Innovation Series events, such as the November 2011 program on how to use social networking in nonprofit marketing
- Major Forum initiatives such as the launch of the NFC Cluster Boston, supporting local startups based on Near Field Communications technology
- Special Interest Group panels, such as the one organized by the RFID SIG on “The Future of Building and Home Automation”
- Testimonials by Forum participants about how they have benefitted from the Forum -- like ginger.io, a Kendall Square startup in the mobile health space
The purpose of these blog posts is not to simply rehash what took place, but to convey some of the meaning people got out of the experience so that the audience for these programs continues to grow.
A career highlight was writing all the marketing copy for the launch of this groundbreaking innovation — the world’s first chip scale atomic clock -- including the white paper, product website, application brief, email blast and email landing page.
