Translate Innovation Into Sales

My writing clients trust me to convey the value of what they do better than they can. As a result they will:

  • Sell more
  • Sell faster
  • Reduce cost of sales
  • Sell at higher prices
  • Generate more sales leads!

No one is better at translating what a particular innovation means to a target audience in terms of their research, engineering, business or investment agendas.

Here’s my offer:

I like to hear from companies looking to increase the power of their messages to drive sales. I also seek partnerships with design firms and other marketing resources looking to inject great content into their own brand promise. My brainstorming sessions and copy reviews are free, yet produce significant points of leverage across multiple marketing venues.

Randy Cronk, owner of greatwriting, discusses white paper benefits and best practices.

My passion is writing about complex systems, products and services in ways that audiences find clear and compelling.

Hi, I'm Randy Cronk. As a freelance marketing writer, my client list ranges from startups to large multinationals, both in the U.S. and Europe. Technologies I’ve written about include computer hardware, digital typography, embedded computing, enterprise software, financial applications, IP TV, information security, open innovation, SEO, software as a service, telecom, timekeeping (sync), virtualization, Web 2.0 and biotech. Verticals include aerospace, defense, financial, electric utilities, healthcare, legal and retail.

Based in downtown Boston, I have been a full-time technology and business writer for over 20 years with more than 240 past and current clients. I have an MBA from Clark University and am a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge.

Before going freelance, I was a vice president at Regis McKenna where I managed accounts that included Dow Jones News Retrieval, Prodigy, QNX Systems, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Prior to Regis McKenna, I was a vice president at Hill and Knowlton where my accounts included Digital and United Airlines. For United, I managed analyst and media relations in support of the Apollo Reservations spinoff. For Digital, I orchestrated the X Windows launch in partnership with the MIT Multimedia Lab.
